Santoor Scholarship Programme 2024-25

 About the Santoor Scholarship programme:

Santoor Scholarship Program, launched in 2016-17, is a joint initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting Group (WCCLG) and Wipro Cares, which intends to support young women from disadvantaged backgrounds who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. 

The annual recurring program supports the selected students until they complete their undergraduate programs. The financial support provided may be utilized for education and allied expenses. The Santoor Scholarship Program is available exclusively for women students in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, and Telangana.  

We are proud to announce the launch of the ninth edition of the Santoor Scholarship Programme for young women. Over the past eight years, the program has supported more than 8000 students to continue their higher education in sciences, commerce, arts (humanities), engineering, medicine, business studies, healthcare etc.  

The programme will offer scholarship support to 1,500 women students in 2024-25 across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. Each selected student will receive an amount of INR 24,000 per annum until the completion of their degree programme.

Priority funding is offered to students from these states' aspirational (backward) districts. 

Eligibility:

·         Passed class 10 from a local government school.

·         Passed class 12 from a government school/junior college in the academic year 2023-24.

·         Enrolled in a full-time graduate program beginning from 2024-25.
