About the Program:

The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program 2024, one of India's largest scholarship programs, is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical -Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education. This scholarship is open to students from Class 6 to PG and those pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses from the top 100 NIRF universities/colleges and IITs or MBA/PGDM courses from IIMs. Selected students can receive a scholarship of up to INR 7.5 lakh to support their educational endeavours.

General Instruction for Students:

1. Only GATE/GPAT qualified candidates are eligible for GATE/GPAT scholarship
2. Candidates admitted for part-time courses are not eligible for GATE/GPAT scholarship

5. Student must have general savings account in the bank. (Minor/no frills account will not be accepted)

11. The GATE/GPAT scholarship will be disbursed for a maximum period of 24 months or till completion of courses/date of submission of thesis whichever is earlier

Instructions for attachments:

1. A recent authentic non-creamy layer certificate[NCL] is required for OBC candidates (not more than 1 year old)
2. Documents in support of SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Physically Handicapped certificate shall be attested by the institute principal or gazetted officer
3. SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/Physically Handicapped certificate should be in Hindi/English otherwise it should be translated and verified in Hindi/English by a notary officer or by the principal in the institute letterhead. The student shall upload both the original and translated certificate
4. All other attachments shall be self-attested by the candidate
