The National Institute of Securities Markets (the Institute or NISM) is an Institute established by the market and across the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to build human resource capacity in securities markets and the financial sector. It is an autonomous public trust governed by its Board of Governors. The Chairperson of SEBI is the ex officio chairperson of the Board of Governors.
